ATTENTION!: Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), Cagayan De Oro City Hall, and Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD)

 We, the residents of Barangays Bugo & Puerto, in Cagayan de Oro City, are demanding immediate intervention from LWUA and City Hall regarding the gross inefficiency of the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD).On August 5, 2026, COWD cut off or severely lowered our water supply for a planned four-day repair period (Aug 5–8) but delayed the public advisory until 2:00 PM on the exact day it started. Leaving thousands of families, businesses, and clinics with zero water and zero warning is a violation of RA 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act). We demand:

1. Immediate and continuous water tanker deployment to our barangays.
2. A formal investigation by LWUA into COWD’s terrible communication protocols.
3. Automatic billing deductions for the days we are left without a basic human necessity.
