I am reaching out to you today as someone who has been unjustly banned from campus at Concordia University. Despite not having violated any code of conduct, nor receiving any notice explaining my removal, I find myself forcefully excluded from my studies at the School of Irish Studies. This has left me bewildered, distressed, and isolated, without the educational resources I need, and concerns about both faculty and student conduct persist.

It is disheartening to witness questionable decision-making by the Office of Rights and Responsibilities (ORR), coupled with unsupportive classroom environments. The experiences go beyond personal discomfort, impacting not only my academic journey but potentially many others as well. The lack of accountability and transparency in handling such matters is unacceptable, and it's imperative that Concordia University reassesses its policies.

We demand an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding my expulsion and the behaviours that contributed to it. The university must take steps to ensure a fair and supportive environment for all students, free of arbitrary decisions and capable of addressing grievances effectively.

A university should be a safe space for learning, growth, and opportunity—not a place where students live in fear of unwarranted punishment.
