As creator on TikTok, I've  seen many creators faced with a frustrating and disheartening issue with Chicago Jon of the Chi Town Stars agency. Many creators, like myself, have been forced to remain under his representation against our wills. Despite multiple requests to be reassigned to another agent, Chicago Jon refuses to transfer our accounts, essentially holding them hostage and profiting off our hard work.

The problem escalates beyond simple representation. Chicago Jon uses AI to present our statistics, a task we could easily manage ourselves, and has attempted to sell free TikTok materials to us, which is both unethical and exploitative. Our agency representation should empower us, not exploit our creativity and time.

The situation is compounded by poor communication. Chicago Jon consistently dismisses urgent needs with excuses, such as claiming that issues can't be resolved over the weekends because "China is closed." This lack of support hinders our opportunities and growth on the platform.

There have been multiple instances where creators faced live violations on TikTok, and rather than providing assistance to resolve these issues promptly, Jon has left clients in the lurch. Moreover, his false promises about scheduling battles and assistance have created an insurmountable barrier for creators striving to connect with their broader audience.

This lack of accountability is unacceptable. We call on TikTok and relevant authorities to investigate these practices and ensure creators are treated fairly and ethically. The content creators' autonomy and trust are of utmost importance, and it's time we hold Chi Town Stars Agency and Chicago Jon accountable for their neglect and misconduct.
