A week ago, I had announced that I had formed a Big Tent coalition with a few other groups that planned to set up a pro-Constitutional Reform peaceful mass gathering that would essentially FACE-OFF against a ragtag group of anti-Constitutional Reform destabilizers and obstructionists (including Communist Terrorists and their supporters) who are trying to use today ("EDSA People Power Day") as an occasion to spread their disinformation against Constitutional Reform.

My coalition-partners and I submitted requests to the authorities to apply for rally permits.

Through this application process, the higher-ups in Government found out about this initiative and while they were very happy to know that people like us hold such sentiments that are in favor of the Government's decision to make the necessary revisions/amendments to the 1987 Constitution, I was eventually advised that it was preferred by those at the higher levels that we graciously and magnanimously allow these people (the naysayers/obstructionists) to enjoy their celebration of People Power Day.

In short, due to the advice of those at higher levels, we pro-Constitutional Reform advocates will NOT be facing-off against the anti-Constitutional Reform obstructionists at either the EDSA People Power Monument or the EDSA Shrine today.
