The Issue

My children were illegally removed from my care around April 10th, 2024. They were happy, healthy, and protected without a mark on them. Within six months of being in the care of the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) in Arkansas, my special needs daughter was assaulted. On November 21st, during a supervised visit, my baby showed up with bruises all over his arms and ear. The case worker, Elysa Turner, and supervisor, Tamara Foley, attempted to rush us out of the mall to avoid police and the ambulance. The medics confirmed that my baby was indeed abused.

This is not an isolated incident. Several cases of child abuse and sexual harassment are being consistently ignored by the DCFS, the entity sworn to protect these vulnerable children. Instead, children are being treated as mere objects and piggy banks for the department's officials, who manipulate their positions to exercise control over families they deem lower-class and easy targets. Severe child abuse is reportedly being covered up, with DCFS, CASA, and even Guardians ad Litem failing in their duty to defend and protect these children.

The safety and well-being of our children should be the top priority, yet in Arkansas, it is evidently not the case. Through systemic negligence and abuse of power, these organizations are failing our society's most vulnerable members. We cannot allow this to continue.

This petition calls for an immediate and thorough investigation into the DCFS, CASA, and the involved Guardians ad Litem in Arkansas. Implement stricter oversight mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency. Child protection agencies must be reformed to genuinely protect and support children's welfare, not further endanger them. Families should be empowered, not victimized by the institutions meant to help them.

Sign this petition to demand that Arkansas state officials hold those in power accountable and ensure true justice and safety for our children. Together, we can foster an environment where children can grow up safely and healthily, free from fear and abuse.
