Remember Me Friday Day In Seguin

Citizens of Seguin,

Take note. Seguin mayor Donna Dodgen has declared September 24 Remember Me Thursday Day.

Essentially the mayor has established a day to honor all the dogs and cats that need adoption.

Strikingly, Mayor Dogden established this day to honor our fuzzy friends on the day before the one year anniversary of Seguin Police Department Officer Michael Godinez slamming a minor child to the ground and causing the kid a concussion. The kid was riding his bike.

Coincidence? Definitely not. The mayor, undoubtedly created this psuedo commemorative day of fuzzy pet remembrance to distract the citizens from the important one year anniversary of one of Seguin’s finest boys in blue injuring a child who was riding his electric bike.

This is pure governmental misdirection. This is smoke and mirrors. This is “ look citizens! We are good, we are effective, we care about the poor fuzzy strays that need adoption “ in an attempt to distract you from seeing them for the officials they really are- the officials who did not fire an out of control cop who attacked a child who was riding his bike.

Citizens, we all love dogs and cats, but please do not be fooled by this pathetic ploy meant to make you think that the government of Seguin has empathy or concern for anything or anyone besides their own bank accounts.

This Remember Me Thursday is a sham meant to keep you from the important day commemorating September 25, 2025 .
