Demand Accountability: Arizona Cardinals Fans Call for Michael Bidwill to Sell the Team
The Issue
For decades, Arizona Cardinals fans, players, and staff have shown unwavering loyalty and pride in our team — even through years of struggle. But after repeated controversies, poor leadership decisions, a toxic work environment, and declining on-field performance, it’s clear that meaningful change will never happen under the ownership of Michael Bidwill.
This is not a call made lightly. The Cardinals organization has become synonymous with dysfunction — from reports of internal toxicity and mistreatment of staff, to questionable leadership practices that have driven away talented players, coaches, and employees. The culture surrounding the team no longer reflects the values of integrity, accountability, and community that Arizona deserves.
The most recent NFL Players Association (NFLPA) survey, released in February 2025, made this reality impossible to ignore. The survey gathered responses from 1,695 NFL players, grading all 32 teams across 11 categories — including workplace conditions, treatment of families, facilities, and overall culture.
The Arizona Cardinals ranked dead last (32nd overall), plummeting from 27th the previous year. This means that, according to the players themselves, the Cardinals are officially the worst organization in the NFL.
The bottom five teams were the Cardinals (32nd), Patriots (31st), Browns (30th), Jets (29th), and Steelers (28th) — a damning statement on how far the Cardinals have fallen under current leadership.
Meanwhile, the product on the field continues to suffer. The lack of vision and consistency has led to years of mediocrity, wasted talent, and eroding fan morale. Stadium attendance and community engagement have dropped, and fans who have supported this franchise through thick and thin are now left frustrated, embarrassed, and disheartened.
We, the undersigned — fans, players, staff (past and present), and members of the Arizona community — demand that Michael Bidwill sell the Arizona Cardinals and allow new ownership to rebuild this organization from the ground up. Our city deserves a team built on respect, transparency, and a genuine commitment to winning — both on and off the field.
It’s time for a new era of Arizona Cardinals football — one where the organization values its people, inspires its community, and restores pride to the Red Sea.
We call on the NFL, the Bidwill family, and all stakeholders to take immediate action to bring accountability and change to the Arizona Cardinals organization.
Sign this petition if you believe the Arizona Cardinals — and the fans who have supported them for generations — deserve better leadership, a healthier culture, and a brighter future.
