This petition arises from profound personal anguish and a pursuit for justice. On September 14, 2022, my little brother Timothy Michael Randall was brutally killed by Shane Michael Iversen during what should have been a routine traffic stop. The aftermath of this horrifying incident was one marked by attempts at concealment and obstruction of justice by the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, thereby adding insult to our irreplaceable loss.

Despite us contending with our pain as well as the continued unapologetic silence the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, we fought & won with the assistance of Judge Love, for the right to see the truth as captured by the dashcam on that dreadful night. It was not until my mother and I took the issue to a federal judge that the Rusk County Sheriff's Office released the footage. However, Iversen was initially no-billed, revealing yet another layer of injustice and distortion of the truth.

I call upon Shane Michael Iversen, the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, the Rusk County District Attorney's Office, the Texas Ranger Brian Hemati, and the attorney general of Texas Ken Paxton to accept responsibility for their direct involvement with my brother's death and the attempted cover-up that followed. My plea is simple: Bring true justice to light, and uphold the principles of integrity and truth that should define our justice system.

The echoes of Timothy's tragic end should serve as a loud call for change, transparency, and accountability in our justice system.
