I am an animal lover, and the mistreatment of animals is deeply personal to me and MANY others.  For years, we have witnessed the negligence of our Adams County Dog Warden, Donnie Swayne. His dereliction of duties has caused distress among our community and beyond, and has negatively affected the lives of countless animals in need.

Donnie Swayne does not return phone calls to rescues or citizens of Adams County. He is often unavailable during county time with his whereabouts unknown. This lack of communication and transparency raises serious questions about his commitment to his role as a public servant.

Furthermore, there are allegations concerning the misuse of county funds under his watch. Such actions not only betray public trust but also divert resources away from where they are most needed - ensuring the welfare and safety of our animals.

This situation cannot continue unaddressed. We call on the Adams County Commissioner to investigate these claims thoroughly and take appropriate disciplinary action against Donnie Swayne if found guilty - up to termination if necessary.
