My life and many others in our community have been disrupted. Our water bills rose by an alarming 110%, a consequence of the decisions taken by our current Water Trust Board Members. This pressing issue impacts us on a personal level, forcing us to make undesirable budget adjustments and affecting our overall quality of life.

The water is a basic necessity, not a luxury. Therefore, having affordable access to this crucial resource should be a fundamental right of every citizen. It's distressing to learn that our Board is seemingly pursuing profit over people's well-being.

The present situation calls for an urgent overhaul of the Water Trust Board. We need representatives who prioritize their community's needs and who make judicious decisions. Hence, the time is apt that we request a special election to replace all three board members of the Water Trust.
