ALONSO AND POVICH LEAD THE WAY FOR THE ORIOLES AS A NEW-ERA BEGINS IN BALTIMORE WITHOUT RUTCHMAN

The Baltimore Orioles defeated the Los Angeles Angels 3-1 on Tuesday night as a new era began in Baltimore after the trade deadline with Rustchman gone. The Orioles jumped out in front 2-0 on a Pete Alonso single leading the Orioles to a 3-1 victory! Cade Povich tossed 6 scoreless innings after being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to fill the rotation spot with Dean Kremer, who was traded to the Twins last Friday. The Orioles (55-58) are only 1 1/2 games back of the third AL Wild Card Spot behind the Cleveland Guardians.
