I've spent my entire life playing Halo. The thrilling, engaging, and captivating world of Halo has been a constant companion. From the first moment I picked up a controller, I was hooked. However, the direction it's currently taking is disheartening and feels like a nail in the coffin for the beloved franchise. The current developer, 343 Industries, doesn't seem to have the connection to the series we desperately need. We must remember what made Halo such an iconic game — its unique storytelling, immersive universe, and commitment to user satisfaction.

Since 343 Industries took over from Bungie in 2007, fans have consistently voiced concerns about the quality and authenticity of the series under the new management. Many fans, like myself, feel that the legacy of Halo is at risk, with beloved features falling by the wayside and sales progressively declining. Halo 4, the first game fully developed by 343 Industries, saw a drop in sales by nearly 50% compared to its predecessor Halo 3, which was developed by Bungie (source: Statista).

We demand that Microsoft, the parent company of 343 Industries, acknowledge our concerns and give the Halo franchise to a development studio that is passionate about Halo and has proven commitment to the legacy and future of the game. Protect the Halo Series we love, respect its history, and ensure a bright future for this game which holds a special place in our hearts.
