Demand a General Election on May 2nd to Address the Conservative Government's Policies

The Issue

I am an individual living with autism and OCD, struggling daily with the challenges these conditions present. Like many others in similar situations, I find it difficult to hold down a job and engage socially. The current government's approach towards individuals like myself is not only unhelpful but harmful. It is clear that demonising the disabled will not solve the UK's problems.

The Conservative government has shown a lack of understanding and empathy towards those who rely on NHS services and benefits for survival. Waiting times for NHS services are notoriously long, causing unnecessary suffering for those in need of care. Instead of addressing these issues, there have been talks about privatising and abolishing the NHS by figures such as Rishi Sunak.

This approach is not only detrimental to individuals like myself but also threatens the wellbeing of millions across our nation who rely on these essential services. We believe that this indicates a need for change at the highest level of our government.

We demand a general election on May 2nd to address these pressing issues directly affecting our lives daily. We urge you to stand with us against policies that harm vulnerable citizens instead of helping them - because everyone deserves dignity, respect, and access to necessary healthcare services.

Please sign this petition if you agree it's time for change – time for a new government that truly cares about all its citizens' welfare.
