The Peak Body managing this marketing campaign represents Australia's three largest private providers. These companies are listed on the ASX, with their primary revenue generated from Medicare rebates, a taxpayer-funded commonwealth resource. Despite their dedicated employees receiving significantly lower salaries compared to their public sector counterparts, it is only the private sector workers who are seeking additional commonwealth funds. This comes after their shareholders enjoyed substantial benefits following the Covid government grants allocated to support PCR testing. Bulk Billing will be stopped but not by the Government, by the Private Pathology Providers holding outpatient Pathology at ransom to the Australian people. 

Yet the reality is that in these Pathology Providers they are training their staff with new Technology that ensures that every patient must pay for tests before the Pathology Collectors can do their trained skills of Collecting samples for testing. There has been no warning for the patients until they go to have a Blood test or are exposed to the extended long waits while clinical staff are being lumped with administrative duties with no support from their employers bringing in this change. Expect for a frustrated visit when you next go for a blood test but please do not take it out on the Pathology Collector because they are just as frustrated as you are! Yes this is a safety hazard for the workers, but their employers do not care, they are making the situation worse with their fear marketing of "Keep Pathology Bulk Billed"!! 

Instead of writing to your local Minister asking to keep Pathology Bulk Billed, write to your Local Minister and ask for them to stop providing Commonwealth funds to ASX listed Private Companies using Medicare for profits.
