Combining the auto industry with new resources will establish an immediate demand for hemp and bamboo. The new demand acts as a guarantee for investment into the farms, factories and education needed to support it.

Here is ground zero. Michigan and the automobile. The birthplace of our modern culture and the most important factor to the success of oil and coal. I'm sure you are thinking gas, oil, energy. STOP! Most of us won't build a solar panel or wind turbine any time soon. How will you have an effect against climate change?

More than energy comes from fossil fuels. Fossil Fuels are used to make almost all products essential to the way we live – everything from food, clothing, and medicine, to the plastics used in computers and cell phones are products of Fossil Fuels.Over 84,000 chemicals.The process where fossil fuels are mixed and combined to form modern chemicals is called "cracking."

Oil - Coal - Natural Gas are the basic ingredients for  VIRTUALLY EVERY  PRODUCT AND MATERIAL SOLD TODAY!

Americans have been trying to get companies to disclose chemicals used in our products since 1976 under the Toxic Substances Control Act. No luck. Let's focus on alternatives.

Stop thinking in terms of energy and start thinking about the materials and chemicals in everything around you. Even in the pills you took this morning and the clothes you wear.

Petrochemicals derived from fossil fuels are just as toxic for humans, animals, and the environment. Thanks to COP21 and recent commitments to solar panels and wind turbines in addition to consumer products; petrochemicals are going to be in greater demand.

Think about that. Due to renewable energy:

PETROCHEMICALS DERIVED FROM FOSSIL FUELS WILL BE IN GREATER DEMAND THAN THEY ARE TODAY.

All of us can simply boycott fossil fuel products. However, we must first build cost effective alternatives to compete with fossil fuels, or we will be forever stuck in this quagmire; where passion isn't enough to compete with profit. Few will give up their toxic Iphones, or plastic bottles for change without an affordable substitute.

Once we look past energy to products, we will realize we can simply stop buying toxic chemicals in products and start buying biobased Industrial Hemp and Bamboo based products instead. The resulting shift of profits will begin what we are calling, Industrial Evolution.

SOUNDS GREAT!  WHERE DO WE START?

Right here, by demanding the Auto Industry give back to America after the billions Americans paid to bail out the industry.

We can build scalable economies based on bamboo and hemp that will rival the prosperity of America in the 50's. We can become great again by bringing the resources that drove the development of new products BACK home.We just need a large enough demand to justify the investment to grow hemp and bamboo on mass scale.

In many ways, the 50's era put us on a collision course with the events unfolding today. Companies developed amazing new products from oil and coal. Each new material invented was used by numerous industries, and we bought all of it.

We were so successful we had to go outside our borders to feed the demand for fossil fuels we created. Companies sent jobs overseas as they learned the toxins they manufactured with like Asbestos were killing the labor force demanding rights and higher wages. A no win situation that motivated moving our jobs overseas where human life and the environment were less valued. The prices were cheaper and we bought it ALL.

HENRY FORD ENVISIONED A DIFFERENT EVOLUTION

In an effort to reduce costs and increase efficiency the automobile has been the number 2 leading driver of new material development. Henry Ford envisioned hemp and soy based cars running on bio based fuels. We believe Henry Ford was right, both in his beliefs of biobased materials and in his distrust of Wall Street.

Biobased parts development and use has been underway by the leading automakers since 1997 for many factors. By signing this petition to General Motors, Ford, Tesla, and Chrysler YOU are creating the catalyst to grow thousands of acres of hemp and bamboo to supply fibers for the Ford you drive, or the Iphone case made of hemp bioplastic.

If we can build a supply chain of BIO chemicals and materials at a lower cost than fossil fuels, companies will begin to use them. Companies are also the key to the front end investment needed to grow hemp and bamboo in step with demand.

For investors and the finance industry, a promise to buy from Fortune 100 or even Fortune 1000 companies lowers the risk for their investment. An OFFTAKE AGREEMENT, meaning "If you build it, I will buy it." acts as a guarantee the investment is safe.

NOT SO FAST WALL STREET

We are not trying to unite the finance industry. They have screwed it up. Here is the twist. We are doing it for YOU.

With the finalization of the J.O.B.S. ACT being released there is an opportunity for the average citizen to invest in farms and factories processing bamboo and hemp. Invest in your neighbors, the stores you patron, and the products you buy.

INDUSTRIAL EVOLUTION: HOW IT WORKS

For example: The Foundation takes this petition to Ford and asks Ford for an "Offtake Agreement" if we can supply hemp and bamboo fibers for $X.XX a ton.

Ford agrees. Great PR for them and we have a promise to approach the Detroit Government with. We ask Organizations like RACER (The Bankruptcy Court appointed trust that oversees the cleanup and repurposement of dozens of GM properties)  to lease land and abandoned buildings, in exchange for a vibrant economy.

If Ford or GM and Detroit agree; we have a project. We will fund the Detroit project via equity crowdfunding where citizens of Detroit may own a piece of the project and drive by their investment every day.

The sudden supply of domestic and international fibers will cause other companies in apparel, plastics, paper, home improvement, and even renewable energy industries to consider hemp and bamboo. Small business owners and inventors will be able to create products here. Not in China.

Colleges and Universities will provide free tuition to those disciplines needed in the Bioeconomy. Our partnership with Educate the Planet can provide the Learning Centers and curriculums globally. 

The results are local resources, trade secrets safe from countries that copy our products, and lower costs of doing business in the U.S. that bring manufacturing back to America.  YOU can make that happen with a signature. Hemp and bamboo has over 25,000 uses and growing everyday. Hemp and bamboo are already being used by Lexus, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ford, and other great automakers. Shouldn't we? Recently, CNN released an article about bamboo and the 64 billion dollar market bamboo created worldwide. Hemp has been featured in the media lately with States pushing to legalize hemp.

The wide range of products and chemicals derived from the plants allow for scalability of the resources.Popular Mechanics has named both plants multi billion dollar crops and there have been numerous Congressional studies on the plants.

Resistance to drought, and the ability to grow on polluted lands or less than "pristine" farms equals a lower cost to acquire land vs. other crops like corn which need arable land. The more we grow the more we REPAIR our environment.
