Delhi schools need to remain shut till children are vaccinated. We cannot afford to see our children sick and pay hefty hospital bills or worse, lose our children to Covid. We've already experienced what the wave 2 did to us - there isn't a person in this country who wasn't affected in some way. 

Our kids have already stayed home for 1.5 years. Another few months will not hurt them. Stuffing 50 kids in a classroom is not a smart move, especially with the looming risks of the Delta variant.

The Delhi govt. needs to take steps to start children's vaccination drive asap instead of putting their time and energy in opening schools without managing the risk first. 

Will the govt. bear the costs (money, emotional, physical, mental) if my child get infected? If yes, our ask is to please share the plan and the funds.

It also seems there is a lobby at work to open schools so as to justify fee hike by some schools during Covid. This needs to be discouraged by not opening schools.

Parents, grandparents, guardians, and responsible members of the society: Kindly sign this petition so that our children are safeguarded before we reopen schools, and so that we can put pressure on the govt. to expedite the vaccination drive for children.
