Virginia Public Animal Shelters are not required to post photos to the internet of animals in there care and custody. We feel animals deserve this right when in our Virginia Public Shelter System. The internet has been around since 1983, and today a cellphone picture cost nothing. We would further like basic intake information, where and when found and when available for adoption dates, as well as final disposition posted with the picture of the animal on the web. Some Virginia Public Animal Shelters have no internet functionality whatsoever. No website, no fax machine, no social media, not even voicemail. No PayPal or electronic method of donation, only a P.O.BOX. It's time to bring our shelters out of the Stone Ages so we can recover more lost pets, adopt out more animals locally, and hopefully one day become a NO KILL SHELTER STATE!  Please Sign.
