HOUSE BILL NO. 1547 was recently presented to and tabled at the Virginia legislator. This bill would extend the fair housing laws to protect citizens based on gender identity and sexual orientation. Although federal fair housing laws do not cover these classes we on a state level can add additional protected groups. A place to call home is one of the fundamental necessities of life. Access to housing should not be limited based on who you love or how your gender presents itself. Show that you support your fellow Virginians by signing this petition!
