We the undersigned demand that Kent & Medway STP delay the A&E (Emergency and Acute Services) Review consultation until 2019 at the earliest and until both the the GP surgery engagement process and Stroke Review processes are completed.

It is intolerable to expect the public in Kent and Medway to take on a further consultation at this time. There is so much information to digest for just one consultation; three should not take place at the same time or overlap. To properly respond, patients and the public need to undertake a lot of reading and investigating.

As the stroke consultation isn't complete yet, and the GP surgery 'engagement' is also happening in Thanet, we demand that the public are given the opportunity to allow the current information to be absorbed and think a while longer about the repercussions of the two significant proposals before embarking on a third.
