Hi everyone,

We're officially into week 2 of our campaign to ask the CFL Commissioner and Board to postpone the new rules so that there can be a proper consultation.  What a week it has been on the journey to 6,000 signatures!

Players and coaches like Nathan Rourke and Mike O'Shea have come out to voice their own concerns about these rule changes, and social media is blowing up with great discussion on ideas that can help the league grow attendance and interest while preserving the distinct Canadian game.

Our group, CFCF, has been featured on 3DownNation, radio, print and TV media in Calgary, Winnipeg and Hamilton and we've seen black shirts pop up at the stadiums on this weekend too!

Again, thank you for helping us meet this challenge and showing that the CFL needs its 13th man if it's going to win in 2026 and beyond...

We have a couple updates to share today:

First, we have a Facebook group now that we recommend joining:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/3686248111506999

This is the best way to stay up to date on announcements and updates as they become available.

It's also where we're going to be launching our custom-designed black t-shirts and apparel to get for the upcoming games in Week 18.  We won't be selling the shirts but will be releasing the design for public use, along with instructions on how you can easily order them from the Canadian shirt-on-demand shop (we'll post a few suggestions on the group page too!).

As always, please help us to keep sharing our petition.  We're already at 40% of an Argos game*, and our goal is to get to 100% of the Argos average attendance by the end of the week.  With your help, we can do this!

Thanks again!
Matthew
