Today I am asking that you consider signing this petition regarding Amber Cobb. It will be sent to the Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York Horse Racing Commissions as well as the Humane Society.

Amber Cobb races horses at Delaware and in the states of Pennsylvania and New York. A video came out recently that I believe says everything. I don't think any words are needed to describe how horrifying the treatment of this horse is.

The filly was tied while 
Cobb hit the filly and screamed hysterically at the horse. The horse tried to climb the wall to get away from her before finally collapsing in sheer terror. The horse did not die, and is doing well now.

Personally, I've been around thoroughbreds my entire life and I own three OTTB's, and I have never resorted to anything like this. She can justify it all she wants to, but true horse people out there know that this is flat out abuse. 

Her original sentence was 2 years banned from the track, which was later reduced to two months because she was articulate, and they didn't want to take away her source of income. What about the horse? I want to see changes in horse racing like everyone else does, and it has to start by no longer condoning people such as Cobb.

Besides the abuse captured in this video, two other horses have died in her care by rearing up and flipping over backwards.

She should no longer be able to touch a horse, train a horse, or have anything to do with horses ever again.
