Petition updateDel Tura HOA, Negotiate a Lower Rent Increase from HTA

Your ballot for new HOA board members

Dr. Nathaniel DuniganFL, United States

Greetings.

As you know, the board never gave an official reply to your petition--even though more than 600 neighbors signed it online or by hand. The board also voted to approve the statutory committee's recommendation of the more than 8% rent increase from Hometown America. This was done at a hastily-called meeting on the Sunday immediately before Christmas, at 10am, without a quorum present in the room (a violation of board bylaws).

  • If you're a current member in good standing, your ballot should be in your mailbox today or tomorrow.
  • You may only vote for three candidates (even though there are five vacancies, and seven candidates). Do not vote for more than three, or your ballot will not be counted.
  • The deadline is short, so please consider voting right away.

I am proud to endorse the following three candidates:

  • Irma Backelant: Her commitment to finding the truth is admirable, and deeply needed.
  • Nuno Hilton: His love of our community, and his promises to make the HOA more accessible, are compelling.
  • Lori McFerrin: Her willingness to engage, deal with difficult questions, and to seek answers--well--these are the qualities of an excellent board member.

All three of these candidates have also publicly committed to advocating for more board transparency, and to a stronger willingness to communicate with homeowners and residents. VOTE!

Respectfully submitted,

Dr. Nathaniel Dunigan
