PETITION FOR PERSONNEL REMOVAL

A petition of the concerned citizens of Animal Welfare

The DeKalb County Animal Welfare League Board of Directors is the controlling body of the Animal Shelter known as the Barn On Baseline, address, 16173 Base Line Rd, Genoa, IL 60135.

Due to the following recent incidents:

The administrative convictions by the State of Illinois Department of Agriculture levied upon the Barn On Baseline and the DeKalb County Animal Welfare League.
The pending criminal charges brought by the States Attorney of DeKalb County against Roberta Shoaf, President of the DeKalb County Animal Welfare League and Executive Director of the Barn On Baseline.
The undersigned hereby request that the Vice President and Board of Directors take the following actions immediately:

1. Request Roberta Shoaf voluntarily resign her position as President of the DeKalb County Animal Welfare League. Should Ms Shoaf fail to take this action, we request that the Vice President and Board Members of the DeKalb County Animal Welfare League convene at the earliest opportunity to remove her from office.

2. Immediately terminate Roberta Shoaf’s employment as Executive Director of the Barn on Baseline and not consider her for employment at the Barn on Baseline or the Family Pet Care Center.
