I'm Roozbeh from Iran. Since everything is perfect in my country and we have no problems at all, I decided to look for issues outside Iran. After searching the whole Earth and finding nothing wrong, I thought: why not fix the Solar System poles? So here I am, launching this petition. 🙏🏻

The way we currently define the poles in our Solar System seems Earth-centric and arbitrary. It's time we adopt a universal perspective by redefining the Solar System poles based on the Sun's axis, which is at the center of our planetary system. This shift not only aligns with scientific understanding but also provides a more consistent framework for space exploration and education.

Given that the Sun is the gravitational anchor around which all planets orbit, it makes logical sense for the Sun's axis to define the polar orientation of our entire Solar System. Aligning our perspective to the Sun’s inherent and stable axis would standardize celestial navigation and provide clearer frameworks for future space missions.

Currently, there is a lack of standardized definition which can cause discrepancies in scientific research, educational material, and exploratory missions. Just imagine astronomers, educators, and space agencies working uniformly with a central point of reference, leading to enhanced collaboration and innovation.

Key institutions, including NASA, ESA, and other global space agencies along with the International Astronomical Union (IAU), play significant roles in advocating for and implementing such change. This petition asks these bodies to consider the implications of redefining Solar System poles based on the solar axis and urge them to initiate the necessary discussions and actions towards this change.

By uniting the scientific community with a clear and uniform pole definition centered on the Sun, we usher in an era of improved astronomical synchronization and academic harmony. Let us aim for a future where scientific consistency reflects our cosmic reality.
