[Defend Our Doctors – Demand Apology and Resignation from Violet Yong]

We are deeply outraged by the baseless accusations made by Pending assemblywoman and lawyer, Violet Yong, against the Sarawak Heart Centre (Pusat Jantung Sarawak) and its dedicated medical staff.

Without verifying facts, she irresponsibly published misleading claims on social media, tarnishing the reputation of frontliners who work tirelessly under immense pressure. Her words not only insulted healthcare workers but also misled the public about the realities of our healthcare system.

As multiple medical professionals have pointed out, the Sarawak Heart Centre has consistently acted swiftly and professionally in treating patients, despite facing severe manpower shortages. Instead of supporting reforms or advocating for better resources, YB Yong chose to unjustly attack our doctors.

As a lawyer and elected representative, she should know better than to spread falsehoods without evidence. Therefore, we call on the public to sign this petition demanding:

1. A public apology from Violet Yong

2. Her resignation to take responsibility for her actions

【捍卫医护尊严——要求杨微讳道歉并辞职】

我们对朋岭区议员兼律师杨微讳女士，近日对砂拉越心脏中心（Pusat Jantung Sarawak）及其医护人员做出的无理指控深感愤怒。

她在未经查证的情况下，公然在社交媒体上发表误导性言论，贬低前线医生的专业与付出，严重伤害了广大医护人员的士气，也误导了公众。

正如多位医生所指出——PJS 一直在资源有限的情况下尽最大努力救治病人，杨女士的言论既不负责任，也无视我国医疗体系面临的人力短缺与压力。

作为一名律师与民选代表，她理应核实事实，而不是制造舆论攻击医护人员。我们要求：

1. 杨微讳为她的不实言论公开道歉

2. 为其造成的负面影响辞去职务、承担责任
