We the undersigned would like to request a duel gated dog park be included into the construction plan happening at Geiger Lake in Deer Park, Town of Babylon.   Would like to suggest one for bigger dogs 30+pounds( limit 10 allowed at a time)  in one section and small dogs 30lbs or less on the other. ( limit 15 at a time).  

Currently there are many of us who walk up and down lake avenue which leads to the park but no place for the dogs to run and play.    We believe this addition would benefit those of us who live in the area.   Other local areas allow the dogs to walk around the lakes ( Belmont/Argyle) but not to be off leash or play. 

Users of the dog park would know the rules ( hoping a sign will be posted with them) and would understand they are accepting all risks/dangers once they enter and unleash their dog.  In case of a crowded/bust day there should be a 30 minute  time limit.   Owners must still clean up after their own pet.     No toys to be left behind.  Additional rules as town sees fit as well
