The City of Taunton is trying to shut down Deep Pond forcing infeasible restrictions that will  cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars making it difficult to stay open. Deep Pond Farms Needs YOUR Help.

Please contact Mayor Shaunna O'Connell at soconnell@taunton-ma.gov and let her know this is WRONG!!! This is a farm that families love and enjoy bringing their children to. Deep Pond loves our Community  and wany to stay open however the city is making it impossible.

To clarify things :

When performing work at the farm, you have to pull permits for certain things such as electrical, accessibility, plumbing, and other things. We have gone out of our way to comply with every thing that the city has wanted us to do every time we perform one of the requirements they find some thing else, it’s like a moving target. It never ends they have cost us thousands of dollars. They continue to put requirements that are just not feasible to a farm. I assure you we have done everything to comply with the city and again it’s just a moving target rather than tell us what we need to do once, and for all they continue to find things. All we want is to work together know exactly what needs to be done get it done and move on that’s not happening here in the City of Taunton unfortunately . There are some that have never even stepped foot on my property and want to enforce from their desk.
