Every parent has concerns about the safety of their children, especially when it comes to them getting to and from school. My kids will be among those to start waiting for the school bus at the intersection of Dove Meadows and Aldridge Lane, a busy junction in our neighborhood. The growing traffic and frequent speeding other neighborhoods using our streets as a shortcut has only intensified my worries.
