PETITION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, has repeatedly sought to undermine the sovereignty and dignity of Canada by frequently referring to Canada in a highly contemptible, derogatory and extremely insulting manner as the "51st state" of the United States, and

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, has sought to subvert and ultimately nullify Canadian sovereignty by repeatedly advocating for the complete annexation of Canada and for Canada's forcible admission to the Union as the "51st state" of the United States of America, contrary to Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution which makes no provision for the forceful annexation or admission of new states to the Union, and

WHEREAS Marco Antonio Rubio, 72nd United States Secretary of State, Howard William Lutnick, 41st United States Secretary of Commerce and Karoline Claire Leavitt, 36th White House Press Secretary, all members of the Donald Trump administration, have similarly sought to subvert and ultimately nullify Canadian sovereignty by repeatedly advocating for the complete annexation of Canada and for Canada's forcible admission to the Union as the "51st state" of the United States of America, contrary to Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution which makes no provision for the forceful annexation or admission of new states to the Union, and

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America has repeatedly referred to the Prime Minister of Canada as "governor of the 51st state" in a highly disrespectful and highly insulting manner intended to belittle, denigrate and demean the office of the Prime Minister Of Canada, and

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, has repeatedly sought to malign, insult and cause injury to the dignity and honour of the people of Canada by claiming, without evidence, that Canadians would prefer to be citizens of the United States of America, and

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, has, in a malicious and highly disrespectful manner, sought to discredit and to bring dishonour upon the brave men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces by claiming without evidence that Canada is unable to provide for its own national defence, and

WHEREAS Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, has deliberately and maliciously lied while attempting to undermine Canada's commitment to the NATO alliance by dishonestly claiming that Canada has made no meaningful contribution to the NATO alliance, despite Canadian Armed Forces members having suffered one hundred and fifty eight members killed in action and two thousand and forty seven members wounded in action while engaged in combat operations alongside the United States, in response to the United States request for assistance under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty in its failed war in Afghanistan. 

WE THEREFORE CALL UPON the Honourable Mélanie Joly, MP, Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Government of Canada to declare Donald John Trump, 47th President of the United States of America, to be Persona Non Grata, to declare him an extreme threat to the national security of Canada and permanently ineligible for entry into Canada.

WE FURTHER CALL UPON the Honourable Mélanie Joly, MP, Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Government of Canada to declare United States Secretary of State Marco Antonio Rubio, United States Secretary of Commerce Howard William Lutnick and White House Press Secretary Karoline Claire Leavitt, to be Persona Non Grata, to declare them extreme threats to the national security of Canada and permanently ineligible for entry into Canada.

WE FURTHER CALL UPON the Honourable Mélanie Joly, MP, Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Government of Canada to declare any other Trump administration officials who have sought to subvert and ultimately nullify Canadian sovereignty by advocating for the complete annexation of Canada and for Canada's forcible admission to the Union as the "51st state" of the United States of America, contrary to Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution which makes no provision for the forceful annexation or admission of new states to the to the Union, to be Persona Non Grata, to declare them extreme threats to the national security of Canada and permanently ineligible for entry into Canada.
