39 years ago today I sat in my highschool classroom and hear distraught teachers (including nuns and priests because it was a Catholic HS) tearfully announce John Lennon's death.

What we've collectively done since is a chronicle of embarrassment, but let's not blame ourselves entirely. Let's destroy the goddamn NRA in our lifetimes.
