We, concerned residents and stakeholders of Davao City, express our strong disappointment over the alleged remarks made by Aira Denielle Ferrando referring to Davao and its people as “enemy territory.”

Such statements are viewed by many Dabawenyos as divisive, disrespectful, and damaging to the dignity and unity of the city and its citizens. Regardless of political affiliation or personal views toward the Rodrigo Duterte family, public discourse should remain respectful and constructive.

In light of these concerns, we call upon the appropriate local bodies and organizations to consider declaring Aira Denielle Ferrando PERSONA NON GRATA in Davao City as an expression of the community’s condemnation of statements perceived as hostile toward the city and its people.

We affirm that Davao City is a place of resilience, pride, and mutual respect, and we encourage all individuals. Regardless of political belief, to engage in dialogue that promotes unity rather than division.
