Declaration of Justice
The Issue
When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for a portion of the citizenry, whom have hitherto been a wholly and connected part of the nation, to separate themselves from their countrymen and assume the position which history and our forefathers set forth, in defiance to what has become mandated injustice, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes that impel them to such a course.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all are created equal, whether it be difference of sex, gender, age, religion, orientation, race, nationality, or ability, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people and those who suffer to refuse allegiance to it and to demand the institution of new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of the citizens of these United States of America under this government and such is now the necessity which constrains them to demand justice to which any inhabitant of the world is entitled. The history of humankind is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over those interests whose voice has been ignored. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.
He has called into question the very methods of our democracy through fraudulent claims on suffrage.1
He has further used these unsubstantiated claims to suggest restrictions on suffrage.2
He has repeatedly fabricated false information to further his own cause and supported those who have claimed false facts attributed to his image and actions.3
He has created an executive that is simultaneously the most wealthy in American history -which he previously sought to dismantle- and the most under qualified for the job of running this country, including himself.4
He has placed these unqualified people in positions of power to which they have previously expressed opposition, even to the most basic goals and precepts of their respective departments.5
He has placed such advisors to positions of power, though unqualified, because of their support to his personal objectives or even funds.6
He has ignored the reports and advice of his counselors in regards to national security and the involvement of foreign nations in our democratic voting process.7
He has maintained a conflict of interest concerning his own business affairs and his new responsibility to objectively regulate those affairs.8
He has already abused such power through his order to ban refugees which did not include the two muslim-majority countries that hold his own business interests.9
He has been prejudiced against such entities that he finds fault with, yet absolves that which benefits him personally.
He has continued the hypocrisy of his attacks on foreign business when he has applauded his own foreign business efforts.10
He has failed to denounce white supremacists and has further embraced it through his cabinet appointments.11
He has banned those fleeing for their lives and seeking refuge from entering the country based on their nationality.12
He has not only exercised racist prevues, but religious discrimination as such bans were only placed on muslim-majority nations.13
He has detained refugees who were legally in transit from exercising their rights of freedom in their new homeland.14
He has detained legal residents, those with visas, and those with dual citizenship with connections to such countries on the grounds of their nationality.15
He has antagonized our foreign relations with friends and foes alike with his rhetoric.16
He has supported the effective dissolvement of the United Nations, one of the few entities that could call review upon his actions.17
He has promised to separate our nation from our neighbor and partner through an unnecessary, imprudent, and fruitless boundary that defies the past positive relations, reports of its negligible success, and theories of ways to achieve positive change.18
He has planned to increase not the safety of our nation or the world, but only the number of nuclear weapons of mass destruction that can only lead to heightened tensions and threats of obliteration.19
He has violated Geneva Convention by lifting the ban on black site torture prisons and allowing futile cruel and unusual punishment upon human beings.20
He has exemplified his blatant prejudices through his plans for a muslim registry.21
He has proudly furthered the isolationist nationalism that has not only lead to two world wars, but been proven to be economically, politically, and socially unavailing.22
He has ignored the history of recent world events and wars that have followed similar paths to destruction.23 24
He has ignored those rights and freedoms outlined in our Constitution.25
He has flouted the rights of women in this nation and internationally through his Mexico City anti-abortion measure, and in so doing, has flouted the conclusions of the other branches of government and bypassed the legal process. 26
He has antagonized and disrespected the female sex without apology and has further refused to acknowledge the marches of protest worldwide.27 28
He has ignored the pleas from minority groups including Native Americans, women, immigrants, Mexican-Americans, Muslim-Americans, and even mocked the disabled.29 30
He has granted the building of the Dakota Access and Keystone pipelines despite mounting protests from Native Americans, whose rights are repeatedly ignored, and environmentalists with legitimate concerns.31
He has silenced the voices of the national parks services for exercising their first amendment right by criticizing his authority.32
He has silenced scientists for speaking truths he does not wish to believe.33
He has begun to repeal healthcare for millions of Americans without attempting to fix the problems, confront the issues, or find a replacement system.34
He has frozen EPA grants and the research they provide.35
He has frozen the administrative processes of many federal organizations inhibiting them from doing their job.36
He has planned defunding of the arts and such related networks.37
He has turned the media into the opposition for doing their duty of reporting the truth, resulting often in an unfavourable portrayal and have thus received punishment for criticism.38
He has ignored the judicial reprimands related to his actions.39
He has failed to dignify the office he holds through his rhetoric and misuse of social media.40
He has been able to create such injustices because of the negligence of the majority party who before have been publically opposed to such measures but have failed to stand up and speak out now when it is needed.41
Through our stages of oppression we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions, protests, and proclamations have been answered only by ignorance or repeated injury. A leader, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Nor have we been wanting in attentions of our brethren. We have warned them from time to time of the injustice wrought by their objectives. We have reminded them of our shared history and of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to them using reason and have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connection. They have been deaf to the voice of justice and consanguinity. We must, therefore, hold them as we hold the rest of humankind, responsible for their atrocities resulting in the repression and discrimination of our own citizens and our brothers in humankind.
We are free and independent peoples who demand that justice, as has been written in our Constitution and created by our founding fathers, reigns again in our great nation. We feel ourselves aggrieved, oppressed, and fraudulently deprived of our most sacred rights and insist on immediate admission to all the rights and privileges which belong to us as citizens, not only of these United States, but of the world.
