il National Geographic è da sempre associato ad una forma di divulgazione e di scoperta che porta le persone negli angoli più remoti del pianeta a scoprirne le bellezze e gli incanti.

Negli ultimi anni però si sono moltiplicati i programmi di stampo reality show in cui i protagonisti si cimentano in sfide atte all'uccisione di animali anche minacciati come la serie "Lupi di mare"  (Wicked Tuna in inglese) in cui si cacciano i tonni blu oppure "Survive the tribe" in cui si è arrivati a dar la caccia a squali, animali minacciati come si può scoprire con una semplice ricerca su un qualsiasi motore di ricerca o leggendo qualsiasi report di organizzazioni governative e non. 

Chiediamo pertanto che tali forme di intrattenimento che in qualche misura si basano sull'uccisione di animali vengano chiuse e non riproposte negli anni futuri.

the National Geographic has been always associated to a a form of entertainment based on the discover and disclosure of the farest corner of the world  in order to show the beauty and wonders of our planet.

In the last year, however, we are facing the multiplication of reality-like shows with people involved in quests based on enlarged animals killing, like wicked tuna, in which they killed the bluefin tuna and survive the tribe in which our hero haunt sharks, all animals endangered as we can assume by reading a simple research on the web or by consulting any report of governative or non-governative organizations.

We ask you to stop animals-killed based form of entertainment and not repropose them in the next years.
