"Pacific Lutheran University on Thursday announced its intent to sell KPLU 88.5 to the University of Washington. It is expected that KUOW will manage 88.5 FM, which currently is operated by KPLU."

We, the loyal KPLU listeners and supporters beg you not to let this happen. Please keep KPLU KPLU!

We are heartsick with your decision to sell and revamp our beloved KPLU.

Those of us who are loyal to KPLU do so for many reasons -- the great local news coverage, funky personalities, terrific music, features we can only get on KPLU, and of course the wonderful music; jazz, the blues and beyond. 

Radio is an intimate medium. We invite it into our private lives and times. We form bonds with the people and music. We become dedicated. Loyal. 

Please reconsider, change your minds and, most of all, please keep KPLU KPLU!
