Can you believe it? There is only three days until we stand where silence ends. In three days, we will gather outside Parliament, in both Melbourne and Sydney, not as strangers, but as people bound by one truth, that no mother deserves to suffer in silence.

My mother has been taken from her children, her voice stripped away, her humanity questioned while the world kept moving. For us, time did not move. It froze in fear, in waiting, in unanswered prayers. In pure misery and torment.  This protest is not a political moment. It is the ache of children who go to sleep wondering if their mother is safe. Every signature on this petition tells her she has not been forgotten and every person who stands with us tells the world that her life matters. 

If you have ever loved your mother, been a mother or parent, or been protected by one, this is your call to stand with us.
