To date I have met with State Representative David Santiago, State Representative Jason Brodeur, State Representative Tom Leek, and State Representative Paul Renner. The Senators that I have met with are Senator Dana Young, and Senator Dorothy Hukill's staff aides. There has been much success with sponsoring and co-sponsoring of the proposed amendment to the current animal cruelty statute 828.12 (2)(a)(b) and each legislator has sent the proposed amendment into "drafting" to be sure the wording etc is correct and there are no attachments to what is being amended. Once finalized, I will update the actual sponsor from the Senate and sponsor from the House.
