Dear SPLC, Please Declare Lady Gaga's "Little Monsters" as an online Hate Group.
The Issue
UPDATED: 1-22-'14
We are asking that official action be taken by the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center), known for their fight against hate groups and extremist, to expose the online bullying, racism, age discrimination, homophobia and violent threats and wishes by the fans of singer, Lady Gaga, also known as "The Little Monsters".
For over two years, this group, under the guise of an all accepting brotherhood for peace and tolerance, have used social media as a way to attack and threaten all other celebrities, and their fan bases.
This first became evident during an online campaign known as "The Lady Gaga Project", where numerous fans submitted violent imagery of other celebrities, they felt were a "threat" to Gaga's career. This included, but was not limited to photoshopped images of pop icon, Madonna being violently mutilated, and even displayed images of apes, claiming them to be her adopted African children. http://popcrush.com/little-monsters-monster-against-madonna-campaign-racist/
Earlier this year, they again were exposed for their cruelty, when they attacked web blogger, Perez Hilton, a former friend of Gaga's. After the two had a falling out, he received numerous death threats to both himself and his children.
They've also made headlines for attacking British soul singer, Adele online. This time taking aim at her weight.

They also attacked singer, Taylor Swift on her birthday, after her award success.

What's so scary about them, is not that they're doing so anonymously behind images of Gaga herself, but that many of them are teenagers...sending wishes of rape, death and other violent acts all to people who simple aren't fans of Lady Gaga, negatively critique her, or in some cases, don't mention her at all, which them deem insulting.

Here's their response to talk show hostess, Wendy Williams, who posted a poll on twitter asking why Gaga's latest album didn't sell well. The responses from Little Monsters were full of threats to her and her family, as well as racist comments.

They even threatened another fan because he met Gaga. http://www.examiner.com/article/little-monsters-bully-one-of-their-own-saddens-lady-gaga
We realize that this may seem like a small problem, but something needs to be done to shine light on the growing violent intent of these young people, and to show them that this is not how one behaves in a civilized society. We feel that this will send a message to not only the world about the kind of following they're turning into, but also to the parents of these youths, who may not realize what their children are doing and saying to others online.
