If you haven’t heard, as of November 15th, it is official! The vacant property at the corner of Mansfield and County Line Road, previously destined to become a sixteen fuel pump 7-Eleven gas station, has been purchased by the Meadow Pointe 2 CDD for future expansion of community amenities. (If you’re like me and can hardly believe it, check out the links below to the official county record : )

Thank you to all who spoke up and took action against keeping this out of our community!!! Together we truly have made a difference.

In such, I implore you all to keep at it with the upcoming continued discussions regarding the potential Pasco/Hillsborough roadway connections (especially the Mansfield/Kinnan connector). If you have a strong opinion regarding this matter, please consider attending the upcoming public hearing on December 13th, at 10am, in Dade City. This is where the draft results of the Pasco County Roadway Connections Study will be presented to the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), who are responsible for ultimately sending an official recommendation to the five county commissioners for a final vote. Prior to the hearing, there will be an opportunity for public comment (unlike at the May public presentation at PHSC).
