The Issue

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a state of emergency. WHO Situation Reports do not seem positive. As such, we, countries that has the most confirmed cases would implore you to temporarily issue a non-essential travel ban from passengers from these countries. We know there has been isolated cases in your region, and we do not want to be the one infecting your citizens (due to the up to 2 week incubation period).

This is not a xenophobic move, but one to safeguard the spread of this virus yet to be fully understood. We are aware of precautions and safeguards to take, but do consider that one mistake might lead to clusters of infections upon clusters of infections. We humbly request you to consider issuing a temporary non-essential travel ban to your region from us, so as to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus and let WHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have more time to try and fully research it.

Right now, there are travel agencies within our countries forcing us to abide to the travel plans, even in the case of this extenuating situation, for their profits' sake. It is not that we do not want to visit your countries and have fun, but we have to take a deep thought on what the consequences might be, globally.
