Hello everyone! This is Darius Adams. I wanted to thank you for signing and sharing my petition. My mom and I are very grateful. We have over 130,000 signatures now! I didn’t think my letter and petition would get this much attention, but I’m so glad that it has. I really feel like we have a chance to get the NCAA to ban violent athletes! My mom and I have been doing a lot of media interviews and everyone has been really supportive. There’s not one person that I have met or talked to that thinks it’s a bad idea. I mean, it’s pretty much common sense, right? Please keep sharing my petition! NCAA President Mark Emmert emailed me and said that the Board of Governors would be meeting this August. If we push hard enough, I think we can get them to vote on this rule. I can’t change what happened to my mom, but we can try to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Thank you for helping us fight this battle. In the past, the NCAA has said that they don’t want to get involved in this matter, but it’s time they did something. Enough is enough!! Thank you, Darius
