We the undersigned hereby ask that you aggressively pursue implementation of the Route 9 Active Concept Plan with the New York State Department of Transportation.

This Dobbs Ferry PTSA-supported plan, developed in conjunction with a consortium of villages including Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, can make Broadway safer for people walking, riding a bicycle, taking transit and driving in cars. With the recent hit-and-run pedestrian death following a school event, we need to move forward with concrete measures that protect lives.
