Dear Europe union, please force OEMs and manufacturers to provide at least 4 major Android upgrades, bug fix and improvments plus security updates for up to 5 years to low-end, mid-range and high-end devices.

Force oems and manufacturers set a clear and transparent policy for updates(special Xiaomi company).
Some OEMs just offer a big update that is not fair at all like Xiaomi(for low end devices) even worse they update schedule make users more vulnerable because of slow update release schedule !

Everyone knows Xiaomi have not a fair Update policy and make android more fragment and have a lot of ads but support is so bad also Xiaomi and HMD Global (Nokia) Violate GPLV2 License of Linux Kernel for slowing release kernel source code.

Xiaomi must Edit it's policy to support devices more than before.

If this does not happen, all users will have to buy new devices every year and this is very bad because some ones have no money to buy phones every year also make a lot of trashy phones(with cables, battery etc) that harm to earth.

With all the ads on customized Android from manufacturers like Xiaomi and Samsung, they will make alot of money with selling and advertising why should they have so little support?
It is very unfair to force users to buy new devices, and this is monopoly!

For example, 2019 devices are only supported for one year, even flagship devices are not in good condition and their prices are very high.
They perform very, very poorly compared to Apple devices, and this is the biggest weakness of Android, even with the introduction of the Trebele project in android 8 and Project Mainline in android 10 and later, the problem is not solved and needs a big change.

This major change should include this update for 2019 and later android device!

Please force them to provide these important updates and to protect users's devices against attacks.

Its true android open source and you can make change by rooting, custom rom etc and this soultions make device more vulnerable to attacks, hackers and also bank apps, other apps not working because Saftey Net not passed even worse only AOSP is completely open source not customized skin like OneUi, MIUI and... , SoC manufacturers have same situation too, so those phones and SoC are close source and they do want ever they want with that and better to say apple is closed source but have very good support so what is wrong with OEMs and SoC manufacturers?

We know about SoC manufactors and how they are supporting, Qualcomm SoC have Tax and users must pay it but they have bad supporting in Android terms, Mediatek SoC supporting is too bad even they are violating GPL and provide updates very slowly(make device more vulnerable), Exynos SoC provide a bit better supporting but still needs improvements and ...

The Big Problem is SoC manufacturers not support as well as Apple SoC and other problem is OEMs have bad Supporting too.

This is 2021 but OEMs and SoC manufacturers still left users vulnerable to attack but they enjoying their money for selling new chip and device and also worse support.

Also I mention Xiaomi have Slowly update too

make Penalty for OEMs if they ignore or violate the rules. Create Rules for OEMs and SoC manufacturers if they europe market they must provide very good update and upgrades for phone.
