KTU came into existence in 2014 and since then various reforms are being introduced every year, especially to the first batch. Currently a new regulation for 2019 admissions has been introduced reducing the pass marks as well as the subjects whereas there is no such consideration for the current batches. The final year students are under immense pressure because of the load due to 6 subjects (in s7), seminar and also Project preliminary work along with labs. Most universities reduce atleast the subjects to concentrate more on Project, whereas the present final year students have 4 subjects as well as the Project in semester 8. This needs to be addressed immediately and the number of subjects should be reduced accordingly.
