Paul Gamez started this petition to Toyota Motor Company and

Have you ever been to a car dealership for service and a few days later receive a survey from the manufacturer asking for your feedback about your experience? More then likely you’ve received an email or in some way been asked from your service advisor to fill out the survey with perfect scores. The reason behind this is service advisors pay is to some extent based on CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index). Dealerships will pay service advisors more money if they’re above a certain score because it makes the dealership look better to the manufacturer. Service advisors typically are the only ones effected by surveys. For example, if you being the customer filled out the survey poorly due to scheduling, car wash, valets, technicians, porters, or any other issue not related to the advisor it only negatively effected the advisor which is completely unfair and sometimes resulting in the advisor losing thousands of dollars. That is why customers are being swayed to fill out a survey a particular way regardless of their actual experience. The problem with this is the customer doesn’t get to voice their honest opinions freely and the manufacturers don’t receive accurate feedback. We need to put a stop to dealerships paying their employees based on CSI scores. Let the people speak!
