In the game Dead By Daylight there's unlockable cosmetics for the licensed killer Leatherface. These are unlocked by killing certain characters, one of them being a black character. Leatherface, a serial killer, is a white man. Unlocking this cosmetic and equipping it is alluding to blackface. Blackface started back when black people weren't allowed to do theatre, or perform on television. White men would paint their faces white and paint on fat red lips. They acted like idiots and buffoons as a way of discriminating black people. We must do better. 

Keeping this cosmetic in the game only enables racism and racist players to discriminate again black people. The cosmetic and the problem with it has been brought up to the devs before. The predominately white dev team said they don't see the issue. We need to do better. Stop being complacent with racism.
