De Montfort University has stayed silent with the current movement going on around the world - and the silence has been noticed by basically ignoring #BlackOutTuesday and the #BlackLivesMatter movements, even though they have a huge range of different ethnicities within the university. 

To make this worse, members of DMU Rowing have dressed in black face, this has come to light and some members have even posted it on their Facebook cover photo and sent it to their black students at the university too. 

To date: DMU Have done NOTHING, which includes releasing a statement to say they have seen the posts, pictures and students names. 

This isn't good enough. Students are at University for 3 - 4 years of their life and everyone deserves to feel welcome, included and wanted there regardless of the colour of their skin. 

Many people around the city of Leicester itself have already acted - so DMU, when will you?
