Recently RGUHS has announced conduction of examination for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final year students from 13th October in offline mode and it seems there is no probability of postponing the exams. We request the DCI and RGUHS to either  cancel the exams and pass the students on pro data basis or postpone the exams until the situation favours. 

Almost every college has students from different states and even abroad. Travelling such long distance poses a huge risk for the health and safety of the students and will lead to an even wider spread of the virus. Moreover proper transportation is not available in most parts of the country. International airports are closed in most other countries which restricts students from abroad to travel.

Even for the localite students, it's not safe to travel everyday to examination centres as most of the students use public transportation. It is a threat to the students as well as their families.

Online exams are also not a viable option as many students reside in rural areas and do not have access to the internet.

Another factor to consider is that students are not in the mental or physical state to study and prepare for their exams during this pandemic and are very stressed about the situation as well as their health.

Taking all these factors into consideration, I think cancelling the university exams and marking/graduating students on the basis of their past academic record or internal assignments is the best option. 

Therefore we request the DCI and RGUHS to  consider cancelling/ postponing examinations  keeping in mind the future, as well as the health and safety of students.
