I'm in the process of becoming a in home licensed day care providers have no issues completing all my paperwork and meeting all requirements. But in my paperwork is says you must state any and all breeds of dogs that live on the primises and provide a copy of vet records. No problem. BUT when I told DCFS that I have a pitbull and a beagle, I was told I might want to get rid of the "pit" they will not except my license as soon as they see that on my paperwork. I then asked if it was a law, she said no, they just won't license me. Anyone who knows my bully knows that she adores all children. The mosquitoes outside would be more danger to the children than our Cealo. I absolutely will not get rid of my dog but I also do not want to give up on getting my license for the daycare because it's something I really want to do! So please help me by signing my petition to stop pitbull shaming and maybe it will help my cause. Thank you!
