I have a 13 year old who needs help....I have called dcf, I have called places equipped to help but all voluntary....he refuses 100%....I have called law enforcement and no one can force him into anything.....we need something that forces him into....something. at 13 he shouldn't have the right to refuse anything, I'm his mom and have tried to get help but only if he's willing....at 13 his choice shouldn't matter, he needs help and isn't willing so it should be my choice...period. we need something that says if the parent seems to think the child needs "outside" help then the child should receive "outside" help. It should not be a voluntary thing, it should be a manitaory thing. So I am trying to get something started that will force a child with "issues" into the "help" they may need.
