Animal abusers went after DC activists and lost

The Washington, DC Superior Court has ruled in favor of three animal rights activists sued by a restaurant owner attempting to stop anti-foie gras protests and online speech.

Owner of DC restaurants, Kinship and Métier, Eric Ziebold, was defeated in court this week thanks to the activists' legal team, lead by Matthew Strugar from the University of Denver Animal Activist Defense Project. They won the case by filing Anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) motions on behalf of the activists.
